sharing insights on my thoughts and knowledge by typing words filled with meaning onto an empty keyboard

A Warm Asphalt

Soft snow falls slowly onto heavy heads.
The tram rings as people run over the streets in an unstoppable rush.
Noise everywhere but the most is in the minds of our tired bodies.
Sleepy eyes and exhausted sighs.

Warm steps rip open the door of cold asphalt

The Art of Time

“You still have enough time.”

“You are still young”

Children who have been promised a childhood, fight cancer, and the elderly who are supposed to be slower and more fragile, dance in their 100s as if they’re in their 20s.

These are not “individual cases” that should be overlooked because who said you won’t be one of them?

A Restart

Once known becomes unknown.
The only thing that my eyes remember is the beige blanket on your couch. You snuggled up in it after long shifts, falling asleep, while the world changed.

A Transcendence

The last ray of hope was carried away by the winds of this world.
Hearts contract, crumble apart. Staring at the leftovers.
meaningless pondering
What happens if I start to walk through these leftovers, will I ever reach an end?

An Autumn Sun

I saw it yesterday, in the reflection of your eyes.
The gentle care of the autumn sun that makes the water of the lake, at the bottom of our feet, shimmer like a million stars.

An Ocean Swim

The ocean tried to bury something that seemed to be long gone. Not existing.

The Art of Self-Respect

A sense of obligation.

Your work starts at 8 am, you will show up.
You schedule to go for a run at 8 am, you skip it.
Why?

It is a lack of self-respect.

This blog post is built up in a way that resembles the process of creating a piece of art. The headings are the individual steps that you make during your journey and the result is what you create: self-respect.

The Art of Mental Strength

Your mind is the only thing you have at the end of the day.
Your mind is the strongest weapon in the world.
Your mind determines how your life develops.
So why do you neglect it?
Why do you try to shut it off?

The Art of Failure

Dreams and goals. Expectations and hope.
What is your dream?
What do you desire to accomplish?
Providing that you aspire to follow through on your goals, I want to ask you: Why are you hesitating?
Are you scared?
Scared to fail?
